… winter months. Chef Jamie McFadden of Aliup Catered Cuisine & Events in Orlando, Florida created this twist on the classic Nutty Irishman coffee drink just for those unexpected bursts of cold air. Chef Jamie studied cuisine in Virginia, Ireland which was always cold in the winter and fondly remembers sipping on this delicious adult beverage after work.
Chef Jamie’s Nutty Irishman
Serves 2
2 cups hot, strong coffee, 2 fluid ounces Irish cream liqueur, divided
2 fluid ounces hazelnut liqueur (such as Frangelico), divided
2 fluid ounces Irish whiskey, divided
10-15 mini marshmallows, divided
Drizzle of Chocolate syrup
2 pinches ground nutmeg
Procedure
Pour hot coffee into 2 coffee mugs.
Measure in Liquor, top with marshmallows, a drizzle of chocolate syrup and a dusting of nutmeg and serve immediately.
